After Effects Text Type On With Cursor
Everyone who uses Adobe After Effects, from the wide-eyed noob to the cynical, monitor-blanched, toothpick-chewing freelancer, will eventually need a type-on text effect.
The default After Effects preset for this is fine, but what it lacks is a little flashing cursor - the kind you'd see in a bad 90s movie before Johnny Lee Miller types "CRASH OVERRIDE" and hacks the freakin' planet.
My version (which I bastardised from this MotionIsland original) is, however, fully hack-the-planet compatible.
